Research

Clinical research is focused on outcome data of liver, gallbladder and transplantation patients, whilst laboratory work is aimed at novel treatments for people with colorectal liver cancer.

Over the past twelve years he has co supervised eight postgraduate fellows working towards PhDs and MDs, looking at the action of COX2 inhibitors (non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs) on colorectal liver cancer cells and producing a potential vaccination for colorectal liver cancer.
